Eyecatcher
Eyecatchers are a helpful tool in drawing attention to important information. The eyecatcher is defined always as a square, its content is purely text-based and is colorized only in one of our four brand colors. Please note: do not use eyecatchers in active red for content relating to smart products (e.g. NEA Smart).

Usage
Eyecatchers are useful when they are implemented carefully. Do not place more than one per spread. Eyecatchers are used to communicate just USP’s. USP is what makes product / services unique in terms of delivering unique benefit and distinguishes REHAU from competitors, while relevant and appealing to target audience. Do not use it for descriptions, catchy phrases or list of features. Do not use eyecatchers in active red for content relating to smart products (e.g. NEA Smart). Eyecatchers are not used on front pages or in ads.
Proportions
Please always pay attention to the ratio of the outline width to the total size. 1 pt line thickness per 10 mm side length means 3.3 pt at 33 mm edge length for brochure DIN A4. The eyecatcher borderline should be proportionally scaled up to suit different format types. The inside margin is always three times as wide as the border line (3z). The type size of the eyecatcher text is scalable to suit the amount of text.
